A “zombie kid” who said the simple remark “I like turtles” live on the news 16 years ago gave rise to one of the most well-known internet memes ever. In order to promote the upcoming release of the animated film Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, he has returned and is once again playing one of the undead.
With the same person who created the original “I like turtles” meme in 2007, Paramount has remade it. Jonathan still seems to enjoy turtles and zombie face agony 16 years later. Watch the clip in the video below:
It appears like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem is already approved for a Paramount+ series in addition to a film sequel before opening in theaters next week. According to Variety, a sequel movie and a two-season, 2D animated series that will act as a “bridge” between the two films are being created by Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon Movies.
The “Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” television series will debut on Paramount+ at an as-yet-unannounced time. Micah Abbey, Shamon Brown Jr., Nicolas Cantu, and Brady Noon, who played the four turtles in the movie, will all reprise their roles as voice actors.
