The girlfriend of “Creed III” actor Jonathan Majors, who called the police after he hit and choked her, is said to have admitted she was to blame and doesn’t want to press charges against the Marvel star.
Attorney Priya Chaudhry, who had said before that she had proof that Majors was innocent, showed the texts that Majors’ unnamed girlfriend sent to him after he was arrested on Saturday.
She wrote in texts provided to TMZ –
“Please let me know you’re okay when you get this.”
“They assured me that you won’t be charged.”
“They said they had to arrest you as protocol when they saw the injuries on me and they knew we had a fight.”
“I’m so angry that they did. And I’m sorry you’re in this position.”
“Will make sure nothing happens about this. I told them it was my fault for trying to grab your phone.”
She also sends the message “I love you.” When Majors, 33, doesn’t answer after more than three hours, she tells him that she told police that the fight between them “was not an attack.”

The girlfriend also said that she would do everything she could to help Majors stay out of trouble with the law and stay out of court. She wrote –
“I know you have the best team and there’s nothing to worry about. I just want you to know that I’m doing all I can my end.”
Chaudhry has denied over and over that her client did anything wrong, and her legal team says they expect all charges to be dropped soon.
In a statement about Majors’ arrest, the lawyer said she was giving the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office evidence to clear her client. Chaudhry said –
“This evidence includes video footage from the vehicle where this episode took place, witness testimony from the driver and others who both saw and heard the episode and most importantly, two written statements from the woman recanting these allegations.”
Officers went to an apartment in Chelsea near West 22nd Street and Eighth Avenue after getting a 911 call about Majors.
Sources told TMZ that the Emmy-nominated actor had a fight with his girlfriend on the way home from a Brooklyn bar, where she confronted him when she saw another woman texting him.
Majors was charged with six counts of third-degree assault, three counts of third-degree attempted assault, and two counts of harassment. He was brought before the Manhattan Criminal Court.
