Chris Rock
Rock (born February 7, 1965) is an American comedian, actor, and filmmaker who has appeared on stage and in film. Rock rose to fame as a cast member of Saturday Night Live from 1990 to 1993 after years as a stand-up comedian and small film appearances in Beverly Hills Cop II and other comedic films.
New Jack City, Boomerang, and CB4 are all films that Rock wrote and produced while he was on SNL. Bring the Pain, the second of Rock’s five HBO comedy specials, catapulted him into mainstream prominence in 1996.
