For Japanese viewers, the new episode will premiere on Tokyo MX, AT-X, Netflix, and Amazon Prime, while Crunchyroll and Netflix have licensed the show for international audiences.
What Previously Occurred in Vinland Saga?
They were fighting fiercely, with Thorfinn landing a punch but getting slashed by Snake in return. As they argued, they both had questions regarding the other’s background.
Knowing that Gardar was responsible for the deaths of five of Snake’s men, he asked Thorfinn and Arnheid if they thought Gardar’s life was more valuable than their own.
They said nothing, and Snake determined to execute Gardar for killing his soldiers. Snake stabbed Gardar in the leg before passing out after being suffocated by Gardar. Gardar was too powerful for Thorfinn to stop.
With Snake freed after Arnheid persuaded Gardar to let him go, the pair rode out in the cart. The cut was deep and bleeding profusely; Gardar felt cold and began to have flashbacks to his time as a slave.

As he thought back to the day his kid was born, he vowed to protect him at all costs. As Gardar dozed on Arnheid’s lap, he saw himself going alone to battle. He assured Arnheid that he would stay with them forever.
After much suffering, Gardar passed away in Arnheid’s arms as Snake’s troops closed in.
What Can We Expect From Vinland Saga Season 2, Episode 18?
The episode will likely open with an explanation of the consequences Thorfinn, Arnheid, and Einar have incurred. Ketil has the final say in what happens to them, but at the very least, they may expect to be held captive by Snake. In addition, Ketil will probably end up punishing them himself.
Similarly, Ketil, Olmar, Thorgil, and Leif Ericson may return to Ketil’s homestead in Vinland Saga season 2, episode 18. Their entrance is likely accompanied by the punishments above and a war storyline centered on their conflict with Canute.
