More young people in America die from drug overdoses than any other cause, including murder, accidents, and natural causes. As the problem worsens, one will discover that its source is far more sinister than a drug lord smuggling cocaine across the border. Netflix’s ‘The Pharmacist,’ directed by Julia Willoughby Nason and Jenner Furst, tells the story of a man who discovered the drug problem in its infancy. After experiencing a personal tragedy, he awoke to find himself in a world that was rapidly degenerating in front of him, and he resolved to take action against those responsible.
The Pharmacist Season 2 Storylines
Dan Schneider, a pharmacist, and activist is the focus of the film directed by Jenner Furst and Julia Willoughby Nason. Poydras, Louisiana, is the setting for this novel. The series tells the full story of Daniel’s murder and the investigation that his father, Dan, conducted in the wake of it.
Before the death of his son, Dan was just a regular guy. After the death of a child, the father, like the character in “A Wednesday,” takes up the cause of social justice. That we can be so insensitive until something affects our lives or those we care about is a stark reminder of this.
As long as our children don’t get involved, it doesn’t matter if drugs are being abused or sold illegally. In our ignorance, we fail to see that these issues will soon find their way into our homes.
The story is set in 1999. Dan was forced to intervene when the police refused to take up the case of his son dismissing him from another drug trafficker. As part of his investigation, he comes across a huge corporation. Now Dan must put his own life in jeopardy to save the lives of tens of thousands of other children who, like his son, are innocent victims. Whether Dan is successful in his mission or the corporate world silences him makes for an interesting story to follow.

The Pharmacist Season 2 Cast

Netflix will release the first season of ‘The Pharmacist’ on February 5, 2020. Incorporating elements from multiple media, the show keeps viewers on their toes. It begins as an unsolved true crime and then turns into investigative journalism that exposes the truth of the pharmaceutical companies that are willing to destroy lives to make more money.
Docuseries tend to be episodic, so getting a second season is a big deal. As a result, Netflix may choose to air a new season of the popular show ‘The Pharmacist.’ The second season of ‘The Pharmacist’ appears unlikely at this point.
