Denver Police Invesʈigate West Highland Double Homicide, American Elm Shutters for Week

Two people were kἰlled in Denver’s West Highland area, and authorities are trying to figure out what happened.

Around 12:45 p.m. on Monday, Denver police received a report of a “deἀth invesʈigation” in the 4100 block of W. 38th Ave. The tweet was updated at 3:30 p.m. to reflect the new information, which was that two people had been mμrdered.

Police said the incident occurred indoors-

The identities of the victims and the circumstances surrounding their deἀths were not immediately made public.

However, local eatery American Elm said on its website that it will be closed for the remainder of the week.

“The American Elm team is completely devastated by today’s tragic events. We are focused on providing our staff with mental health support and will be closed for the rest of the week.”

“We are cooperating fully with the Denver Police Department in their ongoing invesʈigation and will not be providing any further comment at this time out of respect for the families and loved ones involved.”
