Sadly, on Friday, February 24, 2023, Debra “Debbie” S. (Steeber) Holschbach, 61, of Manitowoc, Wisconsin, passed away in her home. She was born in Manitowoc on October 7, 1961, to parents Susan (Bacon) (Steeber) Czekala and the late Allen Steeber.
Debbie is a proud member of the 1980 Lincoln High School graduating class. They hired her at the Port Cities Animal Hospital. Debbie was an animal advocate through and through. She took great pride in maintaining a spotless and well-arranged home.

Debbie’s mother, Sue Czekala, two brothers, Doug Steeber (Julie Oliver) and Dan Steeber (Nicole), two nieces, Hailey and Natalie Steeber, a dog named Riley, and two cats named Micci and Oreo all survive her. Her parents—Allen Steeber and Jerry Czekala—passed away before she was born.
Debbie was cremated at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory in Manitowoc. A private memorial service will be conducted from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, March 3, 2023, at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Hall at 620 North Water Street in Manitowoc.
