Authorities in Bolingbrook, Illinois, have located and detained a suspect in connection with a shooting that took place on Sunday night and resulted in the deaths of three people, including a juvenile.

At approximately 8:15 p.m., there was a possible home invasion that took place along the 100 block of Lee Lane in Bolingbrook.

According to the police, there was an additional adult victim who was injured in the incident. The victim was taken to a local hospital after the accident. Police said in a statement Sunday evening (as reported by FOX NEWS) –

“At this time, one adult female, one adult male, and one juvenile female have been pronounced deceased.”

“One adult female has been transported to an area hospital for treatment. At this time, there is no offender information available. Further updates to follow as information becomes available.”

No information was given about who they were. At this point, we don’t know how bad the survivor’s injuries are. Less than 30 miles to the southwest of Chicago is where you will find Bolingbrook.

The location of the shooting has been secured by the police, and the investigation into the shooting will continue. The statement added –

“Our patrol officers and investigators are working diligently on all potential leads and evidence at this time.”
