The Islanders are back! It’s now summer, which means that in a few short weeks, Love Island USA will bring fresh faces and sexier challenges to the reality television scene. After three seasons on CBS, NBC acquired the American rights to the UK’s Love Island.
The Islanders’ newfound flexibility on Peacock, the network’s streaming service, will allow them to more closely reflect the sassy (and occasionally sexual) tone of the original dating show. Unscripted entertainment content executive vice president Jenny Groom said in February that “Love Island is an addictive dating format that’s perfect for a streaming service like Peacock where we can push boundaries and provide viewers steamy and dramatic surprises,” according to the press release. love island USA season 4.

There will be no Vandenberg emceeing for the new season of the show, which premiered in 2019. Love Island USA producers have promised a much sexier and uncensored show after relocating from CBS to Peacock. According to the official Love Island Twitter account, the switch to a new network will reflect the “explicit character” of the show. The British version’s original narrator, Iain Stirling, was confirmed on June 15 as the new voiceover star. On July 11, Peacock revealed the first group of Islanders. Deb Chubb, Zeta Morrison, Courtney Boerner, and Sereniti Springs are just five of the women who will be living in the villa this summer. On July 13, 2022, via YouTube, the Peacock series cast interviews were posted, detailing what the participants are looking for when they enter the villa.
