The OG racing game Gran Turismo made its debut in the gaming world all the way back in 1997. Since then, 6 different extensions of the game have come out and a 7th one is currently is production.

Gran Turismo 7 Release Date
The Gran Turismo franchise is known to release two games per new PlayStation version. With the release of PS5, it is no surprise that the producers jumped into action and began work on yet another extension.
They announced the release of Gran Turismo 7 during the unveiling of the PS5 on June 11, 2020.

This upcoming game is all set to release on March 4, 2022. Everything seems to be in place and hence, there is no reason to believe that the premiere date may be pushed back.
Keeping in mind that most users still own a PS4, Gran Turismo will be released on both PS5 well as PS4.
Gameplay
Gran Turismo combines the best features of its predecessors along with exciting new updates. The menu and setup greatly resemble GT4 with several modes taken from past games. This includes Championships, Special Events, Tuning Parts Shop, Driving School, and GT Simulation Mode.
Additionally, the Brand Central, Sport and Discover mode are all coming back to make GT7 the ultimate racing game. Thus, players will be able to set their own rules in Sport Mode as they challenge their friends in customized tournaments. They can also ease with AI in single-player mode!
The game features 90 tracks in total. The only one we know about till now is the Daytona International Speedway track.
Gran Turismo 7 Trailer
Since the release date is less than two months away, Sony teased fans with a spectacular trailer featuring the gameplay. It is set around the Daytona International Speedway track and features exclusive footage of what driving in GT7 will look like.
