Following allegations that 10 people had been hurt when the shooting broke out during the filming of his music video, French Montana issued a statement on Friday, January 6.
“Last night, I was in Miami with pals, celebrating the release of my CB6 mixtape. When an incident occurred that injured people, we regrettably were in the wrong place at the wrong time, Montana wrote on Twitter. “At this time, the victims’ families are in our thoughts and prayers.”

Before 8 p.m. ET on Thursday, according to WSVN 7, Miami Gardens Police and Miami-Dade Fire Rescue units responded to reports of a shooting outside The Licking in Miami Gardens, Florida.

Witnesses claimed that the rapper from “Unforgettable” was filming a video when the event occurred. One of them, local MC Ced Mogul, shared a video with NBC6 showing Montana wearing a red shirt while seated in the back of a car with Rob49.
