Cody Longo, a young actor who was known for his roles in movies and TV shows like “Days of Our Lives,” has died.
A member of the family tells TMZ Cody’s body was found in bed at a house in Austin, Texas, on Wednesday. Reports tell us that Stephanie Longo, Longo’s wife, was working at a local dance class when she began to worry about his well-being and called the police to check on him.
When the police came to the house, Longo didn’t answer. When they kicked down the door, they found him dead in bed.

The family member told us that Cody had problems with drinking for many years and went to rehab this summer. At this point, there is no official time of death, but his family thinks he relapsed and that alcoholism probably killed him.

Longo was in 8 episodes of “Days of Our Lives” in 2011. In 2016, he was in “Bring It On: Fight to the Finish” and episodes of “Nashville.” But most people will remember him as Eddie Duran on “Hollywood Heights,” where he was in 78 episodes.
Cody’s wife, Stephanie, told us that he was working hard on himself so that he could fight for his kids. She says –
“He was an amazing father and the best husband. Our whole world is shattered.”
He leaves behind his wife, a daughter who is 7 years old, and two sons who are 5 years old and 1 year old. Cody was just 34.
