Before turning 40 the following month, the 39-year-old “Before He Cheats” singer’s supporters are even more certain that she has undergone recent cosmetic procedures; some even go so far as to claim that she no longer resembles herself! Yikes.

Fans mainly commented on her appearance when the “Ghost Story” hitmaker shared a throwback video with her 12.2M Instagram followers on January 26th. She had recorded the video for her son Jake to congratulate him on his potty training. One fan asked, “What did she do to her face?” and another begged her to “Stop the plastic surgery,” followed by a crying emoji.
One disappointed fan commented:
“Can’t hardly recognize her anymore she went from absolutely gorgeous to who is she, I just don’t understand why she would have all that plastic surgery when she was already beautiful,”
They continued:
“You’re absolutely right. She looks odd and it’s hard to watch. Others on here pretend this is normal,”

Carrie Has Clapped Back at Rumors That the Accident Was a Plastic Surgery Coverup
Carrie defended her account of her injury in a 2018 interview with Redbook Magazine, refuting claims that it was a fabrication used to conceal elective plastic surgery procedures. She stated at the time:
“I’m on some magazine every other week for something crazy. It’s a little sad because the truth is just as interesting. I wish I’d gotten some awesome plastic surgery to make this [scar] look better,”
If anything, Carrie’s injuries have done little to slow down the pace of her career. Since its release on June 10, 2022, Carrie’s most recent album “Denim & Rhinestones” has received praise from both critics and fans. Despite some negative comments regarding her appearance, fans appeared to adore her performance at the 2022 CMA Awards.
