Actor Henry Cavill has secured his next role just a day after bidding farewell to Clark Kent, and the “Superman” flicks. According to the Hollywood Reporter, the former “Witcher” protagonist will appear in the following “Warhammer 40,000” TV series on Prime Video.
The streaming service and maker Games Workshop are adapting the popular tabletop game franchise. Cavill will reportedly act as well as executive produce the movie.

The “Warhammer” actor has been a fan of the game for a long time. “For 40,000 years, I’ve been a part of the ‘Warhammer’ world. No, well, longer, depending on how you look at it,” he jokingly said in an interview with Josh Horowitz of MTV in October.
But it’s been so long, possibly since I was 10. To destroy their adversaries, players in the tabletop game “Warhammer 40,000” move tiny warrior miniatures around a battlefield. The game occurs in war-torn worlds 40,000 years in the future, where human civilization is pitted against ruthless aliens, demons, and supernatural creatures.

Additionally, according to Horowitz, Cavill has mentioned painting “Warhammer” figurines, which he proudly displayed to house guests. Even though he’s unsure which character he’d play, the actor has considered participating in a live-action “Warhammer” series.
“There are numerous ‘Warhammer’ characters that I would like to play. In a 2021 interview with IGN, he stated, “But I can only really be one because once I’m one, then I can’t be others.
I would have to be very aware of that if that were ever to occur, if there were to be anything live-action. Cavill announced on Wednesday that he would no longer play Clark Kent in the DC Extended Universe as James Gunn and Peter Safran, the new DC executives, work to reimagine the studio’s mission.

“This news isn’t the simplest to share after the studio instructed me to do so back in October before they were hired, but that’s life. It does happen that the guard changes, he stated in an Instagram post on Wednesday. “I value that. James and Peter need to create a universe. I send my best wishes and luck to them and everyone else participating with the new universe.
Earlier this year, Liam Hemsworth took over Cavill’s role as Geralt of Rivia in the popular fantasy Netflix series “The Witcher.” Cavill announced on Instagram.
