Several (surprise) guest stars will appear in the final season, including Orla Brady as Laris and Daniel Davis as Professor James Moriarty. For those who may have forgotten, Moriarty made his first appearance on screen since “Star Trek: The Next Generation” season six episode “Ship in a Bottle” in Picard’s October 2022 promo.

There have been rumblings that Moriarty will return, and this time it won’t be a hologram. Possible assistance from Lore in his transformation into a synthetic body. On February 16th, Douglas Aarniokoski’s Star Trek: Picard season three premieres on Paramount+. This particular version will consist of ten episodes.
