We still can’t get over the magnificent impression Anya Taylor-Joy made last week at the London premiere of her newest movie, The Menu! Taylor Joy hit the red carpet in a strapless, figure-hugging gown made of azure latex and with an enormous side split. The 26-year-old Northman actress dazzled in the ornate, eclectic Alexander McQueen dress, which had an emphasis on the waist and a contemporary high-low asymmetrical skirt that helped show off her toned physique. In order to highlight her long legs, the Emma star wore black Christian Louboutin shoes with matching opera gloves.

Taylor Joy chose a gleaming Jaeger-LeCoultre 101 Reine white gold watch for one wrist to complete her understated style. The Peaky Blinders actress wore her long, trademark blonde hair down with a side part for opulent volume à la Old Hollywood and wavy, bouncy ends.

Taylor-beauty Joy’s look featured a smokey, blended cat-eye, rosy blush, luminous highlighter, and gloss on her crimson pout to finish it off. The actress from Amsterdam posed for numerous stunning solo pictures on the red carpet before being joined by her co-star Nicholas Hoult, 32, who matched her with a Jaeger-LeCoultre watch and made a statement in a burgundy blazer, a pink shirt underneath, and a black tie.

According to WWD, Taylor-newest Joy’s endeavor is a “dark comedy-horror picture” (which excites us because Taylor-Joy is no stranger to horror, having acted in blockbusters like The Witch and Split). Mark Mylod, who has worked on hit television shows including Game of Thrones and Shameless, directed the film.

The Menu also features Ralph Fiennes, Judith Light, and John Leguizamo in addition to Taylor-Joy and Hoult. The movie will be released in American theatres on November 18 after making its world premiere in September 2022 at the Toronto International Film Festival.

In the movie The Menu, Taylor-Joy plays Margot, a young woman who goes to a remote island with her lover (played by Hoult) to eat at Hawthorne, an upscale eatery owned by well-known chef Julian Slowik (played by Fiennes).

The story revolves around Slowik serving his guests a spectacular molecular gastronomy feast that is regarded as conceptual art. However, Slowik’s culinary philosophy has some mind-blowing surprises in store for wealthy eaters. (We’re already intrigued!)
