The monthly update schedule for Lost Ark is changing a little, so August will be sparse while September rumbles with fresh material. Historically, Lost Ark alternated between introducing a new class one month and a significant raid the following. But as this updated schedule makes clear, Lost Ark will focus on quality-of-life improvements in August while delaying the new Mechanist class and Kakul-Saydon raid until September.

But that does not mean there won’t be any fresh material in August. The new Pet Ranch, which lets you train your pets, and an extension of the Maharaja Festival are just two new events that will keep players busy and prepare them for Kakul-Saydon. The September update will also consist of two parts: an earlier update and a later update.

The game will receive some major quality-of-life changes in the first part of September, including the addition of a new Global Chat Room (along with other fundamental chat improvements) and the capability to connect friends from various servers. Fans of PvP will like the general enhancement and PvP-specific balancing adjustments, while players may also enjoy new hairstyles.

Lost Ark’s August and September roadmap revealed

The Mechanist class, the sixth Gunner Advanced Class after Deadeye, Gunslinger, Artillerist, and Sharpshooter, is the most significant addition to the update. With machine guns, lasers, and drones at his disposal, the Mechanist looks like something out of Iron Man. In the brand-new Kakul-Saydon Legion Raid, where an evil clown awaits you, you can bring the Mechanist.

Instead of the typical eight players, the Kakul-Saydon Legion Raid will only have four players, but it doesn’t make the raid any simpler. Three gates and a tonne of new mechanics will be in this raid for you to learn and master. Item Level 1,475 people can challenge this raid in Normal mode, but there’s a twist: Item Level 1,385 players can also participate in a practise version of this raid. I’m hoping that this function will be added to other Legion raids.
