WWE 2K22 is an attempt of Visual concepts, the developers of the game, and 2K Sports, the publisher of the game, to rectify their past mistakes and again to give another hit in the WWE landscape.
The last game of the WWE 2K, WWE 2K20 was launched in 2019. However, the gamers did not find it very attractive due to several reasons. According to the users, the launch was a messy launch due to which the 2021 version of the game got canceled.

Visual concepts have officially declared the release date of WWE 2K22. The game is scheduled to release on March 11th.

WWE 2K22 Editions
The game will be available in the following four editions:
- WWE 2K22 standard edition: Standard edition is the basic edition of the game.
- WWE 2K22 Cross-Gen bundle: Along with the base experience, the Cross-Gen Bundle will have the Starrcade ’96 Rey Mysterio pack. The unique feature of this edition is that the gamers can play Starrcade ’96 Rey Mysterio across present and earlier generations of the same console.
- WWE 2K22 Deluxe Edition: The next edition is the Deluxe edition which will include Undertaker Immortal Pack, MyRise Mega-Boost, 1 season pass, SuperCharger Packs, WWE Supercard content (physical copies only), and 5 post-launch DLC packs, along with the base game experience.
- WWE 2K22 nWo 4-Life edition: The last and fourth available edition nWO- Life edition. This edition will include MyFaction EVO cards + Hollywood Hogan, alternate nWo costumes for Scott Hall, playable Eric Bischoff character, Kevin Nash, Syxx, WCW Souled Out 1997, nWo Wolfpac Championship, Bash at the Beach 1996 along with all the contents of the Deluxe edition. The most exciting this about this edition is that it will be launched there days three days earlier than the game’s official release date. It means if you have nWo 4-Life edition, you can play the game on March 8, 2022.
WWE 2K22 Price
- Standard Edition: The gamers will get the standard edition of the game for $59.99 on an earlier generation of consoles PlayStation Xbox One and PC). On the other hand, the holder of new generation consoles like PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S have to pay $69.99 for both physical and digital formats.
- Cross-Gen Bundle: You have to pay $79.99 for Cross-Gen Bundle for both previous and new-gen within the same PlayStation and Xbox console family
- Deluxe Edition: The games have to pay the price of $99.99 if they have PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S in both physical and digital formats, and if have a PC, then you have to do the same for the digital format. If you order the Deluxe Edition you will have early access to the game. You will have to purchase the game before March 8, 2022, as you can access the same on March 8, 2022. The holder of PlayStation5 or Xbox Series X/S will have extra benefits and will also have Starrcade ’96 Rey Mysterio Pack.
- nWo 4-Life Edition: The players will have to pay $119.99 who wish to play it on PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and PC in digital format.
WWE 2K22: Pre-Order Bonus
Well, there are lots of exciting bonuses for the player who will pre-order the game before March 8, 2022. The players who will pre-order the Standard Edition, Cross-Gen Digital Bundle, Delux Editions, and nWo 4-Life Edition will get early access three days before the launch date.
