What is the plot of Dune?

Dune is a science fiction adaptation of the 1965 novel. It expands into multiple planets, families, religions, and political systems in an alternate future. The story revolves around a brilliantly gifted young man named Paul Atreides. As he has been born into a great destiny beyond his understanding, he accepts a proposal to visit a dangerous and deserted planet, Arrakis, aka Dune. However, the environment of Dune, being inhospitable, carries a rich abundance of the substance known as ‘melange.’ This is an incredible resource that can extend human life and enhance consciousness. It can provide superhuman levels and travel faster than light possible.

Though Paul had taken this opportunity to save his family, he gets trapped in a set by his enemies. Later, Paul takes control of the spice mining operation, which leads him and Jessica to a native of Arrakis who lives in the deep desert.

The October movie would be part one of two as initially ordered. It would roughly cover the first half of the novel.

The second movie or the second part has not been finalized yet. Therefore, whether or not it will come depends only on the success of the first.

The movie’s concept is so blockbuster that Legendary Television is also working on a prequel TV series titled Dune: Sisterhood. It will follow the lives of mysterious women that will lead to Dune.

Is there a ‘Dune’ trailer?

The first trailer of Dune was released in September 2020. For the November 2020 release, it was expected to be the official trailer teaser back then. However, when pushed the release, Warner Bros came up with another trailer. It is available on all digital platforms.

We hope it was everything you wanted about Dune. We would come up with further news of the second movie when it arrives.
